This section aims to provide survivors of childhood sexual abuse as well as their families, friends and partners with information and resources for support.
The self help section is still being developed, although we hope to publish information on various issues surrounding the effects of sexual abuse in the near future.
KASP also provides a forum for survivors of abuse to share experiences, and gain support from each other in a non-judgemental and understanding environment, there is also a section for family and friends.
Suicide and Crisis Emergency List
We would encourage you to create an emergency list for yourself and keep it in an accessible place.
The list should include ideas for getting your needs met and taking care of yourself in a crisis
The list can include simple suggestions like breathing, phone numbers, getting a stuffed animal and hugging it, checking in with your body, or going to a safe place.
You will find some useful material in this section that you can print off if you don’t feel like creating your own list.
